With pandemic life stretching on, three kids at home, and a desire for more outdoor entertaining, this family turned to screening in an existing side porch to expand their home's living space. The porch is a predominant feature on the Victorian home, so much care was taken in detailing the enclosure of the side porch for cohesion with existing columns and railings.

New railings to a new adjacent deck were detailed in a paired-down aesthetic to distinguish the porch's language from that of the deck addition.
