Upon moving to a limestone farmhouse on an expansive rural property with a fine collection of outbuildings, including a solid limestone barn and heavy timber corn crib, the owner identified a need for studio space and a detached garage. This new building joins the others without emulating the nature of the originals, but existing as a contemporary addition. Designed to be affordable, low-maintenance, and fully powered by photovoltaic panels, the studio and garage provide daily work space for the owners; a musician and a beekeeper.
