UWS Townhouse

Restoration & Renovation

Encompassing the exterior restoration of this limestone townhouse on the Upper West Side and gut renovation of the ground floor, this project ranged from graffiti removal and masonry repair to highly customized millwork and interior finish selection.

The exterior work, subject to historic landmarks review and approval, included historically-sensitive roof replacement and masonry repair. The ground floor interior was renovated with a family kitchen space at its core: A smaller kitchen upstairs serves the formal dining room, but this space is reserved for hanging out, homework, and casual gatherings. The new configuration includes kitchen, sitting area, "art cabinet", laundry room, and a dog shower just inside the entry for cleaning off paws after walks.
