West Hills Bathroom

The main bathroom in a 1930s Colonial Revival, this room hadn't been updated since the 1980s and was in dire need of a refresh. On a tight budget, the clients carried out most of the construction work themselves, which included demolition down to the studs. The original cast iron tub, wood window, door, and trim were preserved and refinished. Otherwise, all finishes and fixtures were replaced in a manner at once contemporary and contextual.
